2019 TRACES OF ART

This year our exhibit tells no story, describes nothing. It simply exists.
It speaks rather of elements and characteristics by which Art reveals itself.
That is to say, the little – the much. The white – the black. The small – the large.
The light – the heavy. The round – the square. The now – the then. It speaks of the difficult and the easy.
The understandable and the incomprehensible. Light and darkness.
It is therefore a poetic lexicon and not a novelette, a novel, or a collection of short stories.
So let those of you who love pure poetry come to visit us. Your presence will give us great joy.
But for those who prefer narration, I'm afraid you might be disappointed.
Even so, we urge you to come, because art is not only optical delight.
It is also instruction. And in its best moments, the two become one.
